Lhasa Ali Kailash Tour

12 Days, 11 Nights

Kailash Pilgrimage via Lhasa Ali

Ali Kunsha Airport, also referred to as Ngari Gunsa Airport, stands at an elevation exceeding 4,200 meters, ranking among the highest elevated airports globally. Serving both military and civilian purposes, its unique geographic location allows for just one operational flight from Lhasa to Kunsha. Mount Kailash lies a mere 200km away from Ngari Gunsa Airport, making the Lhasa Ali Kailash Tour a highly accessible and convenient option for travelers.

For Hindu devotees, Mount Kailash (6,714m) embodies the sacred abode of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. They regard the Kailash Parikrama (circuit) as the ultimate path to spiritual enlightenment. Similarly, various religious beliefs attribute different significance to the mountain; Buddhists consider it the home of Lord Shakyamuni, Jains venerate it as the site of a great guru’s Liberation, and Bon tradition regards it as the Jewel of Snow. The Kailash Parikrama covers a challenging and sometimes technical distance of approximately 54 km.

Embarking on the Kailash Mansarovar Tour via Lhasa Ali promises a life-altering experience, undertaken by thousands of pilgrims annually in pursuit of their spiritual aspirations. For devotees, this journey to a secluded, timeless, breathtaking, and spiritual site represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
