If you are traveling to Nepal for a few days and want to gain the full experience along the way, this business trip is for you. Visit these major cities and heritage sites to make the most of your trip.
Day 1 : Kathmandu
Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by our local Chinese-speaking tour guide who will assist with the transfer to the hotel. After lunch and a brief period of rest, you will visit Swayambhunath. Swayambhunath, situated atop a hill in the western part of the city. Swayambhunath, literally meaning “self-existent one”, is the oldest stupa in Nepal and has numerous shrines and monasteries on its premises. Dating back over 2000 years, this sacred Buddhist site features a magnificent Stupa adorned with the iconic Buddha’s eyes and eyebrows. Surrounded by prayer wheels, colorful flags, and numerous shrines, Swayambhunath offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley. It is considered one of the most sacred and significant heritage sites in Nepal. Following a 90-minute exploration of this revered site, the tour proceeds to Kathmandu Durbar Square, approximately half an hour away.
Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a historic plaza in the heart of Kathmandu city. It is renowned for its stunning architecture, including ancient palaces, temples, courtyards, and intricately carved wooden structures. Once the royal residence of the Malla and Shah kings of Nepal, the square is now a cultural hub where visitors can explore centuries-old monuments, such as the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, Kumari Ghar (House of the Living Goddess), and Taleju Temple. Here, you will receive detailed descriptions of the historical sites. You can also visit the local handicraft shops and pashmina shops along the way. A comprehensive visit to Durbar Square will take approximately 2 hours. Later, dinner will be served at a Chinese restaurant located in the Durbar Square, followed by a return drive to the hotel.
Day 2 : Kathmandu-Pokhara
We will begin your day with an early breakfast at the hotel, followed by check-out as we head for the airport to catch our flight to Pokhara at 10:15 am. It will take approximately 30 minutes to reach Pokhara. Pokhara, nestled in the lap of the majestic Himalayas, is a serene and picturesque city known for its stunning natural beauty. With the serene Phewa Lake reflecting the snow-capped peaks of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre ranges, Pokhara offers a tranquil escape for travelers seeking relaxation and adventure alike. With its vibrant culture, breathtaking views, adventurous sports, and other diverse attractions, Pokhara promises an unforgettable experience amidst nature’s grandeur. Upon arrival in Pokhara, we will check-in at the hotel and enjoy a delicious lunch, then proceed to visit the World Peace Pagoda. The World Peace Pagoda, also known as Shanti Stupa, is a 115 feet tall symbol of peace and tranquility located atop Anadu Hill in Pokhara. It offers stunning views of the Annapurna mountain range, Phewa Lake, and the Pokhara Valley. Afterwards, we will visit Devi’s Fall, a mesmerizing natural waterfall which flows into a narrow gorge and then vanishes underground. In the evening, we will take a leisurely stroll along the picturesque Lakeside. We shall conclude the day with a delightful dinner at a Chinese restaurant and comfortable overnight stay in Pokhara.
Day 3 : Pokhara-Lumbini-Kathmandu
Our day will begin with a wakeup call from the hotel, preparing to depart at 4:50 am for Sarangkot, a hilltop spot offering panoramic views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre mountains, and a breathtaking sunrise. It is a popular spot for trekking and paragliding while witnessing the natural beauty of the valley. After this mesmerizing experience, we will return to the hotel for breakfast before heading to the airport for a flight to Lumbini at 10:30 am. The flight duration is approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival in Lumbini, a 45-minute drive will take us to the birthplace (temple) of Lord Gautam Buddha, where we’ll explore the sacred grounds and surrounding Lumbini Garden. We will have lunch at a nearby hotel/restaurant and later in the afternoon, we’ll return to the airport for our flight back to Kathmandu at 6:00 pm, and reach Kathmandu in approximately 45 minutes. Upon returning to Kathmandu, you will check-in at the hotel and take a short rest before visiting Thamel.
Thamel is a vibrant and bustling neighborhood located in the heart of Kathmandu, Nepal. Renowned as the tourist hub of the city, Thamel is characterized by its narrow streets lined with colorful shops, bustling markets, cozy cafes, and lively bars. It’s a popular destination for travelers seeking souvenirs, trekking gear, authentic Nepali cuisine, and vibrant nightlife experiences. You can explore the streets of Thamel and learn about various Nepali products such as tea, coffee, handmade brass items, and Pashmina. Conclude the day with a delightful dinner before retiring for the night at the hotel.
Day 4 : Kathmandu-China
Enjoy an early breakfast before checking out from the hotel and heading to the international airport for your departure..

The Department of Customs of Nepal allows an individual to carry up to ¥20,000 or equivalents of foreign currency, gold and other valuables equivalent to $1500. Nepal has very strict restrictions on gold, so please do not bring gold ornaments or valuables to the tour.
